AU Condemns Houthi Attacks on Red Sea Shipping
African Union Commission Chairperson Mahmoud Ali Youssouf has condemned Houthi attacks on commercial oil tankers in the Red Sea and called for an immediate end to attacks on shipping.
He warned that disruptions to maritime traffic threaten regional peace, global trade, energy security and African economies dependent on safe and secure Red Sea shipping routes.
